Dr. Tiffany M. Gethers is a leadership development expert, business strategist, and speaker. She utilizes her diverse background in leadership, business development, public relations and integrated marketing to build the leadership capacity of emerging and senior leaders and students. Through her leadership development consultancy, Soar Strategy Group, LLC., Dr. Tiffany provides leadership development workshops and trainings for corporations and colleges on various essential skills such as emotional intelligence, servant leadership, resonant leadership, teamwork, communication, and more. Additionally, she is passionate about training and speaking to students in high schools and colleges on leadership matters, building resilience, and the power of persistence.

Dr. Tiffany’s devotion to improving access to higher education, student success, and retention rates (particularly among at-risk student populations), surpasses trainings and speaking. In 2018, Dr. Tiffany and her husband, David A. Gethers, co-founded The 2Gethers Foundation, and Illinois not-for-profit (501c3) organization whose specific purpose is to address barriers that first-generation students face so that they can successfully persist through higher education and successfully attain a college degree. Since the organization’s inception, they have awarded $23,000 in scholarships to college bound and continuing scholars and served more than 600 students across their Gateway 2 College and College Success Programs.

In addition to serving corporations, colleges, and students, Dr. Tiffany helps aspiring and new female entrepreneurs realize their business dreams through her virtual business coaching programs and courses. She is the Founder of the GetHers Mastermind Group, a business support membership program for female entrepreneurs. 

Dr. Tiffany has served in various leadership capacities in post-secondary institutions for more than 15 years. She earned a Doctorate of Education in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Governors State University in 2016 where she concentrated in Higher Education Administration. Her research focuses on retention and persistence issues among first-year, first-generation college students. Dr. Tiffany earned a Master’s of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Public Relations from Roosevelt University.
